I think I have a bit of the same problem. A dry tickly throat with a dry cough. I had a cough attack in the lecture of a uni open day the other day, it was soo embarrassing
Drinking doesnt help nor does sucking cough lollies for me, it's very odd. Sorry im no help, maybe go to the chemist and ask them, good luck.

I had a cough attack at 3am in the morning last night, and all my house mates heard

But I think you win with the most embarrasing scenario :p:

What do you think about Panadol, do you reckon that would help? It's a pain killer but meh.

You can get cough medicine to suppress the coughing for dry, tickly throats

If it continues, see your doctor-- I remember having a persistent tickly cough not long ago after having a bad cold- it lasted for about 2/3 weeks, bloody annoying it was, as I couldnt do anything without coughing!! My GP gave me some antibiotics in the end which cleared it up

I'm meant to be in the waiting room, but I have a wait of about 3 hours so here I am in the library next door

aw Ive not had a cold for years (stay away!) but I remember feeling horrid like that. Drink pure orange, have a hot steamy shower (im not being pervy it worked for me) and get some strepsils.

I found Covonia is quite good for a tickly throat. You can get it at any pharmacy as far as I know.

Hope you're fixed soon
