    Hi guys

Currently I am at Lancaster university and not really happy with it , my course is decent but I do not like the environment and general social life , I can't see myself ever being happy here. I would like to transfer to loughborough University next year , I emailed them and they said they do not accept second year transfers which is fine , however if I apply for Loughborough university my grades for the course I would likely be below the minimum they often accept , they want AAB , I have ABC however, Lancaster wanted the same and accepted me regardless. If i apply to Loughborough would i have to at the same time withdraw from Lancaster ? While I do not like it here it feels like a stupid idea to just drop out in hope Loughborough will accept me .

    thanks for any advice

Call Loughborough again and as whether they would take your current first year grades into consideration if you apply for first year entry.

You can apply elsewhere (and even get a reference from your tutors) without committing to leaving or dropping out of your current course.
