I was wondering if any of the healthcare workers on TSR would be able to help me, I currently work as a care assistant in a care home environment but I'm hoping to get a HCA position in a hospital environment which requires you to have the BCG vaccination amongst other things. I've looked for private clinics in the Lancashire area but the only ones I can find are in the south like London and Cambridge and I'm not keen on the idea of travelling all the way down south.

Not sure if this might help?

I'd suggest you call you surgery and ask where to get vaccines. I'm not sure how it differes for individual vaccines, but I could get mine done at the sureger when I went on holiday and know people who got theirs done at the local hospital. Worth calling around the NHS cos they should either be able to do it or know where you can. You could also ask your uni or people on your course since they will be looking in the same area as you.

I would assume that if you can't find a place which will do it in an entire county then it's probably not required or you'll be able to get it done at your GP or by wherever you work.
