Do I have the option to skip the Industrial Placement Year just if I opt not to? Watch

Applied on October 29, and have gotten an offer from the University of Manchester. I applied for the MEng with an Industrial Placement Year. If for any reason, due to unforeseen circumstances or whatever, I opt not to go for the year in industry, is this an option?
EDIT: Ignore the 'just' in the title, don't know how that got there.

Probably best ask this to the university directly.

Almost certainly, you just transfer to the non year in industry version, they'll have lots of experience with this as often people won't succeed in finding a placement.
