Hello. I'm planning to write a confession letter to a boy in my year whom I'm friends with (but not really close to) and whom I've crushed on for about 6 months. As my school year ends in November, I'm planning to give it to him at the end of prom. I don't think he likes me back, but I guess I just need to get it off my chest and make my crush count for something. Should I just write my admiration for him in my letter and go like "I'm sure you don't like me back but I hope that this letter can make you feel appreciated" or actually try asking him out (in maybe a subtle way)?

I think you should write the things you like about him, I'm sure he will appreciate it regardless Don't assume he doesn't like you back! Just wait and see his reaction
