    Could someone explain how they would go about solving question 2 and 3?

    I can't picture how to draw the diagram for question 2 and/or resolve from there
    as its confusing for me.

    For Q3) I know T = I.a, where a = angular acceleration. but can't remember any other
    formulas I could relate given what I know in the question.

    It doesn't mention the mass of the plane which is a hint that the plane's mass is going to cancel out in the algebra...

    friction is going to do work on the moving plane until it's stationary - the amount of work is fs where s is the displacement during the skid and f is the frictional force.

    the plane stops moving when it's kinetic energy is zero

    you need to find the distance at which work done by friction equals the initial KE of the plane.

    your freebody diagram is going to show the plane's weight, the normal reaction to the planes weight (plane is in equilibrium vertically) and a frictional force which is decelerating the plane
