    Welcome to Parliament XXIV!

The results of the 24th general election are now revealed.

The number of valid votes cast for each candidate / party is as follows:
    Jammy Duel: 6
TSR Conservative and Unionist Party: 38
    TSR Labour Party: 48
    TheBigMan2: 0
    TSR Liberal Party: 26
    TSR Socialist Party: 11
    TSR UK Independence Party: 18
    Ballots spoilt: 3

The seats are therefore allotted according to the D'Hondt method to parties and candidates as follows:
TSR Labour Party: 17 (seats 01–17)
TSR Conservative and Unionist Party: 13 (seats 18–30)
TSR Liberal Party: 9 (seats 31–39)
TSR UK Independence Party: 6 (seats 40–45)
TSR Socialist Party: 4 (seats 46–49)
    Jammy Duel: 1 (seat 50)

Parties have the next week to appoint MPs to their numbered seats and to submit coalition proposals to the Speaker. Coalition proposals should be sent by means of a PM to me from all party leaders and independent candidates involved.

Congratulations RayApparently, surely one of if not the biggest seat total for a single party ever?

It begs the question though, do we really need a week for coalition negotiations? There's only one way this is going xD

The trend of the Liberal Party losing far fewer votes after adjustment than other parties continues.

I've got to say, a massive congratulations. Would have been a shame if you didn't win a seat even though I disagree with you so much xD

Indeed. Quite a nice trend to have.

That is because TSR is a bastion for all of the naive, out-of-touch, left-wing individuals whose capacities for self-delusion make Walter Mitty appear unimaginative.

I'd won the seat before the election even begun

Thanks a lot, JD. Because of you, the Tories got 2 fewer seats than what they should have got, and the Socs got 1 more than they should have got. If JD’s votes are added to the Tories, the right-wing would have 1 seat more than the left wing, with the Tories having 15 seats and the Socs having 3.
