Is Ramsay catered? I must say i'm disappointed that you ended up there. I wanted you to be in AT with Paddy.

Reply 2

Lol yes it's catered. I definitely wanted catered, so I would have been quite confused if I ended up in AT :p:.

Right we all know that Ramsay Hall is the most social and fun loving  So who else has an offer for Ramsay?
I have an offer for single accommodation, although I'm trying to work out if the amount of fun and meeting people/being able to get up late is work ~ £5,000!

Do you think there is an arts/sciences divide between Ramsay/Ifor Evans? I got the latter, and so did a friend of mine who was in first year French last year. I thought this morning that this might be an Ulster trend, but then I noticed that the medics were supposed to be big at Ramsay...or is it all random? I don't really care though, I'm happy with Camden! Congrats by the way - although you knew you were going all along didn't you? See Graeme got into Queen's? He was delighted. Good luck!

Im a science lad and i also got Ramsay, although i specifically asked for it (Wrote it in capitals next to the box where you tick you want halls).

prankerds better

mr philo - strongly recommend staying halls in first year but if you feel it's too expensive you can stay upto christmas and not have to pay after that (obviously, you have to write a letter by a certain date requesting this). Not to say you can't make plenty of friends and have a great social life if you were to live elsewhere, it's just more effort.

I didn't live in Ramsay last year but it was basically just a building site and people had to walk to UCL to get their meals so was hardly the experience they expected. Hence, almost everyone will say bad things about it. Could well (and should well) be better this year.

Reply 17

Ah ok thanks mate. I was thinking that actually. Definitely stay the first term, and if too expensive/not nice/whatever - leave.

OI SHUSH Becca. I am, we'll see who rules Ramsay :p:

Nah, he's one of the overlords-in-training. With an "alpha-male-complex".

Nice work if you can get it! lol

And I just LOVE becca's sig...it's gonna be such fun meeting you guys in a few weeks...please don't be too sane ;-)

(on a very quiet night shift btw, in case the 4am post appears mildly odd...)

If you end up ruling the roost at Ramsay, how would you like to be addressed Your Majesty?
