Hi all im going to be studying D1 for dec exams

can anyone recommend any good D1 books for edexcel or resources? thanks

    Don't do it! :p:

Aside from that you might like to read up on some operational research type books and decision theory too.

I studied D1 under OCR (MEI) but I actually used an Edexcel textbook to do so as I didn't like mine.
The Heinemann Modular Mathematics Decision 1 book was quite easy to use and although it went far beyond what I needed for my specification it actually came in useful for D2, as it teaches the simplex algorithm much better than my other textbook which I couldn't make head nor tails of. It leads you through the process very slowly and thoroughly so you can get to grips with it.
And Decision Mathematics isn't all that bad...:p:
