Hola!
For the OCR chemistry spec, is PCl3 triangular pyramidal of modified tetrahedral?
For example if H20 non linear or modified tetrahedral?
If so does that mean i need to learn all the positioning of lone pairs for some elements and therefore the shape they form?
Thanks!

H2O is a 'Bent' molecule, PCl3 is either a a Trigonal Pyramidal or trigonal Planar molecule.
You do need to learn how many lone pairs and bond pairs are in a molecule, and what shapes they form..
