So what happened today was...my dad has this stupid 'joke' thing he does whenever he parks his car behind my mum's car and tries to get it so ridiculously close (like with maybe an inch of room to spare) and he's done this a few times and thinks it's funny, my mum usually has a go at him about it.
Well today he done the same thing but behind my car, well this time he completely misjudged it and actually went right up against the back of my car. So i was pretty damn livid about it and started shouting at him.

Now it wasn't a hard collision or anything serious, just a little bump and there is no damage to either car. The thing that has really set me off is his attitude about it. Whilst i was having a go at him he just didn't take it serious and was still laughing/smiling about it as if i'd made a big deal out of nothing. This car is my pride and joy and is the first car i have ever bought myself and i worked hard to earn the money for it. I got pissed off because i drive carefully on the roads i don't expect to get stupid bumps like this from my own dad!

So the thing is, there is an atmosphere at home and i'm wondering should i just bite the bullet and go apologise for shouting?(Personally i don't believe for one second i have done anything wrong) or should i just leave it? My dad is a good guy but he pisses me off with these stupid things he does when he is trying to be funny.

Advice please guys, have i blown it out of proportion/taking it too serious or what?

Well guess he would not like it if you bumped his car but still think you just need to have a calm talk with him rather than shouting at him.
