I am studying a foundation degree this year in London, however I'm transferring to another uni closer to home mostly because this area isn't for me. I currently live in halls however I'm not as happy here as I wish I could be, I don't drink too much because I'm a bit of a health freak, my flatmates smoke drugs and stay up all night - kinda how the student lifestyle is perceived. I was thinking about living with my boyfriend (who I've been with for 3/4 years) and commuting to university (which is an hours drive) as I feel like I'd be a lot happier living in my hometown. I just wanted opinions on this..

Sounds like moving in with your boyfriend could be a good option assuming financially it's affordable.
