It's quite useful to keep up to date with health news, so BBC Health or BMJ press releases might be good to check out. The Medic Portal provide good interviews advice and useful reading on the latest health/medicine news. Their YouTube channel has videos on medicine hot topics and how to tackle questions relating to them.
If you're looking for books and related literature on medicine, check out books from Atul Gawande (e.g. The Checklist Manifesto, Being Mortal), Ben Goldacre (e.g. Bad Science, Bad Pharma) and Siddharta Mukherjee (The Emperor of All Maladies).
Best of luck!

There are a range of resources you can use to keep up to date with the latest news: you could read our weekly news summary on our blogs, or you could check BBC Health.
We also have a page dedicated to NHS Hot Topics 2016-17 - this details the biggest news topics this year, such as the Zika virus or junior doctors' contract, as well as potential questions you may be asked in an interview.
We also have a NHS Hot Topics question bank and detailed answer guide.
Hope this helps!
