I'm doing economics AS, and I have no prior experience knowledge on economics (subject wise). For those of you who have done AS/A-level economics and have got A/A* (I'm aiming for an A), what was the most useful method of revision & do you have any tips/advice? Also, when is the best time to revise. I'm planning to start this month as I have mocks in early January. Thanks in advance

There's not really a best method of revision or a best timing. If you drill down into it, what is revision for? It's so you can recollect and understand the information from the material that you've studied quickly and effectively. How people go about this is different for everyone, as we all learn in different ways.

Find out how you learn best (visually? verbally? etc.) by trying them all if you haven't done so already and use the system you find most effective for your revision. As for timing, just get started. You're less likely to remember information that you've crammed in just before the exam over something you've gone over, over a longer period of time.

For Economics in particular, I'd make sure you understand why the graphs that are covered are drawn the way they are. Being able to quickly whip up a graph helps you get easy marks with minimal effort, but you need to understand what it's showing to make it stick. This shouldn't be too difficult because Economics at an A-level standard is pretty intuitive.

Best of luck
