- A car of mass 500 kg accelerates at 1 m/s2 when the force due to the engine is 600 N. The average frictional force on the car is then what?

The answer is 100N but how... If we do m*a we get 500 into 1 which gives us a force of 500N towards the right? Name: 1479016513871-1176921340.jpg
