    I pretty much agree with this-

    If she does win- it will be the death blow to the EU.

    I don't think the socislists stand a chance and the centre/right republicans could not have more establishment politicians.

    Yes, she probably will win.

    Yes, she will give France a referendum.

    But keep your eyes on Italy, they have a referendum next month too.

    Not many UK commentators talking about Italy at the moment.

    FN is the definition of a fringe party. They have less than 1% representation at the moment, the chances of them winning the election are very, very remote. There could be an increase in support, but it would take a serious upset for them to move from 1% of the vote to winning the majority.

    So I guess if it did happen, we ought to take note. It would represent a colossal shift in political sentiment, bigger than anything we've seen in the past few decades.
