Do you think you might look a bit prepubescent if you attempt it? If the answer is 'yes', then don't do it!

Well the whole point is if you can grow it great... if not you'll look silly but hey... you're raising awareness.

But A) It's a bit late to start (13 days too late) and B) It's Movember. November is the American hipster copy which is to not cut facial hair at all, the UK version you're suppose to only keep the moustache NO BEARDS ALLOWED!

no shaving does not increase potential. Its all about genetics and testosterone. My beard is patchy so it trim it down after a certain length.

Not really. Facial hair is largely down to genetics, the only way you could ever so slightly influence it would be via exercising more often. And even then, that's a very tiny influence.

As you're younger, it does make it seem like it's growing 'faster' but that's only because you're just starting to get facial hair.

No... it just sometimes gives the impression it does when you trim it as the hairs become more even lengths.

Generally speaking you'' have a painful 2-3 week period where you shouldn't touch it at all.

I have finished that period :P, but im considering leaving it now to see what it will look like or I may shave the upper neck bit which always grows first
