u soposed to give it i think 24 or 48 hours, i hot my head in a tunnel against a pole..strange storry. BUt it was so sore- I chewed gum for abit!

I'm probably talking ****, but I don't think you're meant to sleep if you're concussed. Maybe that's only if you start to feel sleepy straight away though.

I realise that's not helpful at all.

I think you should call up NHS direct or someone, just to be sure. Also yeah, I dont think you're meant to sleep for about 5 hours afterwards. dont trust me wholey on this mind.

When I had concussion (not the last time the time before - tad accident prone me!) the doctor just recommended not sleeping until I stopped feeling like I was going to be sick - if you're just feeling a bit ill and nauseous but not like you're actually about to throw up you should be fine to go to sleep for a while.

Meanwhile take some paracetamol for the headache and keep drinking water.

If you have symptoms (such as your headache and nausea) after a blow to the head you really ought to see your doctor I thought.

Yes that probably is true actually. I got concussed and went to bed after 4 hours and when I woke up I still felt the same!
