Hiya, my English teacher has given us the task of writing the first 500 words of our dissertation for tomorrow yet our whole class has no clue on how to structure it. The way I was thinking of writing it was a small intro which addresses the essay question and then two separate paragraphs on the summaries of the novels I have chosen but looking at other examples of dissertations has led me to think that this isn't the correct way to tackle the Dissertation. I was wondering how other people were told to write their first 500 words or so because I could really use some help.

    Thanks x
