    Could someone please help me with this?

    A spider does not fall like you would, but floats gently downwards. Use forces and terminal velocity to explain why .

    i think its because the spider weighs much less than we do as it has a lower mass, so as it falls the air resistance (which increases as velocity increases) can quickly balance with the mass. this is because the resultant force is downwards at first but then it quickly becomes 0 due to terminal velocity being reached.
