Have a look at this link, you can get some tips on what to expect at the Xerox assessment centre.

Is this for a placement or a graduate role?

With assessment centres, they're looking to see how you perform in work-related tasks, either individually or in a group. Get involved with tasks and show them you are an efficient worker. Make sure you display skills and behaviours that the company are looking for (you will need to research this, or they normally would put it on the job description). Also, research the company well and look interested in the interviews (if there are any) and always come prepared with questions to ask the interviewer.
