What is the most harrowing things you've seen? watch

    For me it was the world war one battle fields. The thing that really struck me was how quiet it was it's not a "nice" quiet either it's oppressive. You know something awful happened there, the birds don't sing or anything it must have been awful for those poor boys on the front line on both sides.

    Probably a guy who overdosed next to a river whilst we were kayaking, we saw him sitting on the bench when we went upstream, but when we came back the police etc were all there. Didn't see much, but that's why it was harrowing.

    Personally though, the most harrowing thing would be being stung by a box jelly whilst freediving, because I knew that they vary, some will just give you a mild sting and nothing more, some will kill you in 5 minutes. Luckily, I had only been stung on a small area on my wrist and it was not in Australia, so it was not the most dangerous type.
