I can't masturbate? Watch

Hey, so I finally decided I would try to masturbate because everyone says it feels amazing and I thought I'd give it ago but, it didn't seem to work and I don't know why. I tried both shower head masturbation and fingering and neither were successful. My first problem is I can't seem to get turned on. I'm a virgin and have never done anything sexual. I've never been turned on before. I tried several things to turn myself on though, I rode the arm of an armchair, I read smut and even played with my clitoris. But none of it gets me turned on! I tried clitoris stimulation and when I touch my clit it did feel nice, but that's it, nothing else happened and sometimes when I touched and played with it I didn't feel anything from it at all. Now this could be because I haven't properly located it but I'm pretty certain I have, I've checked with a mirror and compared it to diagrams and I'm definitely in the right place so why doesn't it work? When trying shower head masturbation, it felt nice but again that's it. It felt nice where the water was touching my vulva and clit but it was very unsatisfying and I didn't feel anything internally, and definitely didn't come anywhere near orgasm. When fingering, I played with my clit and sort of teased myself but I didn't get wet or feel anything. I then proceeded to finger myself, I put one finger all the way in and that was it. It didn't feel nice or anything really so what am I supposed to do after that to make it pleasurable? I tried pumping it but it actually hurt and taking my finger out also hurt a bit so????? Thank you for any advice

I think your getting confused with what masturbation is.

From what youve said your doing (fingering etc) your already masturbating. I think what your looking for is how to orgasm. Being a male i cant help you out as much but i think you need to keep trying for longer periods of time or even find somthing that turns you on.

But isn't masturbation like fingering supposed to feel nice even before orgasm and it shouldn't hurt when I pump my finger or take it out should it?
Everything that should normally get people turned on isn't getting me turned on. I've touched and played with my clit and clitoral stimulation is supposed to make you orgasm easier than fingering yet it isn't even turning me on?!

It might just be hurting you because you have only just started to do it? You need to find somthing that makes you want to masturbate. Start of slowly till you get used to it and the pain goes.

I'm a girl also and I don't feel any pleasure from actually inserting fingers or anything. I'm not really sure what I'm meant to feel or do so its a bit pointless for me. It can also be a bit painful because I'm kinda just poking a bit. I suggest you need to relax more and just enjoy exploring you said touching your clit felt nice so I think that if you continue with that you will eventually orgasm and enjoy it fully. On the point about being turned on I'm not really sure what you could try usually I just feel in the mood and the minute I start I'm turned on

why do you have to do that?

not everyone has to nor feel stimulated simply from physical stimulation.

You might just have a low libido, is all. If you're concerned about health consult a doctor, otherwise idk, I guess that's about it. You don't have to do anything you don't want to just because others say it's great

For females, most of the pleasure does come from the clit so I'd keep going with that. Masturbation also isn't something that you decide to do and are done with it in like 2 minutes unless you're already very turned on.

I would suggest figuring out what turns you on first of all. Try porn, smut, imagination, whatever. A lot of it is mental and not only physical. The physical stimulation is nice but you need more than that for an actual orgasm

If you've just started masturbating then I'd say stay away from fingering the vag for now. I've been masturbating since 9 I think (I'm female btw) and only started fingering myself a couple of years ago. I think masturbation is a slow process with discovery so don't rush it just because you think you should be doing it. It's also not unusual to be uninterested in masturbation. I know someone who takes no pleasure in masturbation and finds it gross but enjoys sex with another person.

It can also take a while to get into but just keep trying, find what pleasures you most. I'd start off with the clit, it can be more pleasurable if you stretch it a bit and you find the right place to rub. Also maybe watch porn or read smut and see if there's anything that helps or even find out you're just not into it. Imagination can also help, think of yourself in an erotic situation or watch yourself in the mirror. Also using your spit, oil or lube can help to ease it up more and maybe even using objects to rub it instead of your fingers (make sure they are clean and not dangerous first though). Sometimes it can be hard to stimulate when you are dry. Also stimulating in the shower or bath can be difficult too because your skin goes into the wrinkly texture and I heard when in water your vagina automatically closes up as a protective mechanism (though I could be misinformed about that). Anyway, hope I helped and good luck.

My girlfriend never masturbate either and when we first tried to have intimate relationship she told me that is a virgin and that kind of made me happy as I was still a virgin too. So I’ve decided to make thinks right and slow, so I’ve tried firstly to turn her on and playing with her breast touching her slightly all over the body until I’ve realised that she is wet down there. And then I’ve proceeded with giving her an oral, again slowly, very slowly until she told me that is ready to go further. She didn’t bleed or something, she only felt a little pain, just a little, the instant pleasure of course. Unfortunately for both I didn’t last too much as the pleasure was more intense for me. But with a little concentration I can give her enough pleasure. The most important thing is to get into a relationship and try it slowly and do not force you into this as not everyone is the same.

Female masturbation is very complicated as is female orgasm, some woman never orgasm.

Generally, I find a combination of inserted fingers and clitoral stimulation work for me. However at 17 I had no real interest in masturbation, so maybe you are just not ready.

My advice would be to relax, explore your body, trying some nipple stimulation may help, maybe in the bath. Personally I find shower heads pleasant but not orgasm producing. Be gentle with with your clitorus.

Relax it will come, and so will you.

Again male so take with a grain of salt. At times I also don't get any satisfacton from anything, very similairly to you, even ocassionaly getting bored by it. I have to wait for moments when I'm in the mood and even then it can take from 10 minutes to an hour and a half to orgasm. It usually can't be predicted by me all the way up to the last minute or so. Also I suggest not using toys and starting out manually until you're pretty sure you know what you're doing. If nothing helps you musn't be scared to talk to a doctor. He is there to help you and if you just bring yourself to talk to them, even about sensitive subjects such as these, they'll help you in any way they can and usually much more than any internet forum.
