So as Christmas is coming up I have put The Bioshock Remastered collection(Xbox one) on my list. My brother played the first two and said they are really scary and tbh I don't really like scary games. I mean if it's a good story line I guess I can bare with it. I mean fallout 4 can be a little scary at low levels because the ghouls would f**k me up when I first started playing it and would come outta nowhere and it scared the sh*t out of me. Completed it though and it was a great game. So how scary is it my brother said it was very scary and he was 24 or something when he played it.

I have played all three of them, I have the remastered editions, but haven't played them yet. It isn't scary at all.

It does hold a certain eeriness but it's not that scary.

I'm playing through the series right now actually, just started 2, they're creepy/atmospheric but not scary really apart from a couple jumpscares, you must play them with headphones though to get the full experience.

I rented it when it came out. I remember finishing it in a weekend, it was a good game IMO. The only slightly weird bits I remember were towards the start and later on at the theatre/shopping place.

Would you kindly let us know what you think of it when you've finished it?

Good to hear they're not that scary. I could never play too scary a game like Aliens.

Yeah, not that scary, more of an "atmosphere" and "music" thing. I suppose if you find certain things particularly disturbing there's that too... I'm a huge wuss and I got through them though so you should be fine.

There is the odd very mild jump scare that isn't particularly effective, even when the atmosphere gets you on edge, more so in the first game than the rest.

Not scary tbh. Damn good games though!
