    Hi,
so I was wondering what the difference between 'what do you want to be' and 'who do you want to be' is.
    Thanks!

I'd say one is more related to occupation and the other is about you personally. I would say what you want to be is more about what career you want to do e.g be a vet but who you want to be is more about who you want to be as a person, say a nice or happy person.
