Hi, I graduated with a third degree in maths and 3 A A-Levels. I'm wondering if I could get onto a PGCE course for primary school teaching with this or is it too competitive for that? I'm sure I could do secondary teaching maths with this due to the teacher shortages but want to see what options I have first.
    Thanks.

What are the entry requirements? I think you need at least a 2:2. Check with the uni. They're best placed to advise.

As alleycat393 has said, the course providers are the best people to ask. There are maths specialism primary courses for which it can be quite difficult to recruit as there aren't many people from maths backgrounds wanting to enter teaching, let alone primary teaching, so it's possible one of those courses would be more than happy to have you. Getting onto a primary education course with a third is a challenge, but not impossible.
