Sitting exams as 'external candidate'

Hello everyone,

I'm new here.

Does anybody know colleges, VI form or otherwise that take external candidates for AS-A2 levels (Mathematics & Physics) BuT do not charge an arm & a leg?

A couple of years ago a GCSE Astronomy at Ark Academy (London) cost about £75. Unfortunately Ark do not take external candidates any longer :frown:

Have a look on the exam board's website and there should be a list of local centres.

Thank you for the info.
I've just checked Ealing Independent and they charge £165 per A/AS and don't provide for practicals.

It looks like I've got to travel further afield, though. I'll google more and check on Pearson's (Edexcel) and AQA's websites.
