    Growing up a lot has happened in my life which effected me emotionally a lot, the main to be my parents literally giving me up and failing my first year of college. Like every other day I would be crying just remembering it, I'm okay now but occasionally when I'm in my room just lying down in bed I remember something from my past which leads me to crying myself to sleep? is this normal...

    It is completely normal to find yourself upset over past traumatic events occasionally. You may still want to see somebody about it though because it seems to be bothering you quite a bit (I expect it would). Just because it is normal it doesn't mean you should have to suffer in silence.
