I hate to be the boring one here but doesn't it depend entirely on the context? You need to know the whole amount before you can think about what constitues a 'few' of that amount

Okay, i'll shut up and say 3-6 :p:

I'd usually say 3 to 6, although as has already been said, depends on the context.

3 i think. I never thought of 'a couple' being two until like a year ago, it never clicked until my dad said
    How many is several?

3 to 6 normally, but it can depend on the context.

depends what it is. I think a few is 3-6, as seven is several, for obvious reasons and ten or more is a lot, although it does depend on wat ur talking about, cos a few hours would be lke 3-4, but a few drinks is like 13-14 :p:

3 or 4. It is definitely not 2 or we wouldn't need the word couple.
