OCR gave me the wrong grade! :(

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum to post this in, so apologies in advance.

I've just received my a-level grades in the post and am overall happy with them, and I also got my place at my first choice Uni. However, for OCR Psychology, I got a 'C' - because OCR have put "no result" next to my piece of AS coursework. I actually took this exam last Summer (2006) and gained a grade B. I didn't decline the grade or anything as I didn't want to resit - so what do I do now?

I'm so angry that they've made this mistake, I deserve a B (maybe a low A??) in Psychology - what do I do now? I really want to phone them but I have a bad feeling they're gonna say that the grade is final and can't be changed. I know I should be grateful, especially because I got my place at Uni, but these grades have got to go on my CV for the rest of my life. Also, all the time and effort that I put into the coursework, etc. has just been wasted.

Help?! :frown:

talk to the exams officer at your school/college or a tutor or someone.

I feel for you. I was told my sociology coursework was A grade standard, but when i got my results they gave me a D for it  So i don't know what the hell OCR are playing at this year. Morons. :hmpf:

I would go and talk to your school/college exams coordinator and seek their advice. If they're not available just now, try phoning the school and see if they can find someone appropriate.
Failing that, yes, I would say phone them up - if you have results from last year stating that you got a B for it, it's entirely possible that they have missed it out somehow (god knows how it could happen...). After they've awarded the grade if you didn't get a remark or anything then I really can't see how it would have changed. If you phone them up, what's the worst that could happen...?

i'm pretty sure the grade can be changed if they've made a mistake
