I got my AS results last week and got 4 As in French, maths, further maths (unoficially coz as in fmaths doesnt exist really in this situation) physics and french (individula marks are in my sig). The thing is, will unis look at my general studies, which is a B, and i got a D in the politics, society and economics paper (full marks in maths and science paper tho lol).

I want to apply for maths to cambridge, imperial college london, warwick and havent decided on the others yet. I am continuing all 4 subjects next year also.

Most decent uni's wont even give General studies a glance - as they dont consider it a proper A level. Plus a B is not really a disaster. They'll only see the overall grade, not the unit marks.

I doubt it considering those universities dont accept General Studies and you have 4 other good marks in good subjects.

ummm - unit grades for cashed in AS levels have to be included on your UCAS form this year (last year they were sort of optional).

But overall you're right - no uni is likely to decline you for a B in GS when you've got 4 As.
