My art teacher marks our GCSE art exams; and then a moderator comes in an sees wether the grades are correct. As a result I know my art exam grade already.

I got 100% which is an A*; and 100% in the coursework which I'm very chuffed about. My teacher said he wanted to give me more than 100% which is pleasing; but then he started saying things that began to confuse me.

He said that he would also enter my GCSE work as A2 art work and he said it would get an A. He then went on to talk about me skipping the A-level course and going into University to study art or something.

I turned down the proposition; I didn't want to miss out on the experience of the 6th form, and I did not want to be an "odd-one-out" at Uni - I don't think I'm ready for it yet.

What do you think - should I have accepted?

IF this is TRUE (highly doubt it) then I would have accepted the A2 offer if it would be an A.

It would mean that during sixth form, you could do other subjects and work more for them boosting your A Level Count and Points for Uni.

Art is a demaning subject in terms of coursework and if you already had an A at A2, It would mean a less amount of work for you.

I highly doubt this is true, but if it well done!

I agree with that, as if it's true, I'd have gone for the A2, but turned down the Uni, as you are to young, and it would have been well awkward.

Assuming the guy isn't lying or has misunderstood what his teacher has said.
