Need help with this biology question please!!

Okay so the question is:

Multiple sclerosis is a disease in which parts of the myelin sheaths around neurones are destroyed. Explain how this results in slower responses to stimuli.

Help is appreciated, thank you!!
The myelin sheath speeds up the transmission of impulses as depolarisation can't take place where there is myelin, so saltatory conduction occurs which speeds up the impulse. If myelin is destroyed saltatory conduction won't occur and the whole length of the axon membrane will need to be depolarised - which takes longer

Ah right! That makes sense, thank you!
