Would you go out with a...erm...big lad/lass?

(I'll get flamed for this but...)

When I say big, I mean grossly overweight. I don't mean to sound horrible but I feel the human body should be looked after and getting too big is just plain wrong, whether through illness, genetics or otherwise.

But IN REALITY & TRUTHFULLY, would you go out with a big lad/lass and be happy to be seen with them?

----------

Truthfully I couldn't. And I'm not enjoying the unwanted attention atm. Yes I maybe shallow, but I'm honest and like to take a little care of my body. But then again, I also find that slimmer girls have nicer personalities for some reason. Maybe they just make more effort. But that's just me...

I would, yeah. Unless it was 'can't walk on my own two feet' large.
I wouldn't, no. Simply because I wouldn't find them attractive. At least, I never have found somebody grossly overweight attractive. Even moderately overweight doesn't look very appealing.

I don't mind a bit of squish or podge, I'd be a hypocrite if I did :p: But grossly overweight? No, I wouldn't go out with such a person. It is simply not attractive and as nice as they are, for me to have a relationship with them as opposed to a friendship, there needs to be physical attraction. Plus I just don't think I could be with someone who had 0 concern for their appearance and health :s-smilie: Although that last bit obviously doesn't apply to folks who are overweight for some sort of medical reason.

I must admit I wouldnt go for a large or morbidly obese person - It just doesnt attract me in the slightest. Im more attracted to slim/athletic healthy looking guys and thats my personal preference. However I disagree with the comment that slimmer girls have nicer personalities, thats rubbish, I find that many large people have great personalties and as those who are larger (healthy with it though so not morbidly obese etc) and accept themselves and are happy are funny and fun to be around! People shouldnt be generalised just because of their size. Each individual is different. Still particularly in society today being slimmer/slimmer with curves is deemed more attractive.

No, because I really don't find grossly overweight men attractive...
No, I wouldn't. I just don't find it attractive - to me (and I expect people will disagree with this) it indicates a lack of control and a lack of pride in oneself, neither of which I find to be admirable qualities.
I'd rather remain celibate than hook up with a fatty.
No, never. I would never go out with a fatty. Ever. Ever ever ever.

Ever.

I probably wouldn't date someone who was extremely overweight (meaning more than a bit podgey) If i am honest I probably wouldn't find them attractive. I disagree that being over weight always indicated that people have negative characteristics to their personality there are many reasons that people might be overweight. I also don't think that slim people have nicer personalities.

Not really. Im a sexual beast and I just wouldn't want to have sex with rolls.

A few pounds is no big deal though.

no, how could someone who doesn't take care of themselves possibly take care of me!
No, sorry.

I don't even like semi-overweight. I'm pretty much only attracted to thin girls.
No.
YES!

No of course not

Whats with that song big girls you are beautiful? The general consensus in here seems to think they arent!

grossly overweight, no.

overweight by bmi's standards (ie an athlete) hell yes. Prefer it to skinny boys.

Definitely not, "big" girls don't attract me at all. I do feel bad for girls I see who would clearly be really hot if they lost some weight.
Overweight? Yes, there are some girls that look great when they're a bit chunky and it wouldn't suit them to be slim. But if they were really bad then no. I wouldn't be attracted to someone that obviously doesn't respect their body.

Plus i couldn't handle being on top all the time. :nn:
I really doubt i'd go out with someone overweight (depends how overweight, a little overweight=maybe, a lot overweight=no). It depends on the person really.
