MathS help please?

A system is used in a college to predict students A level grade in a particular subject using their gcse results. The gcse score is g and the a level score is a and for maths in 1999 the coding equation was given by a=2.6g -9.42
This year there are 66 second year students and their gcse scores are summarised as Sum of g =408.6 and Sum of (g- mean of g )^2=15.45

A) find mean and standard deviation of the gcse scores.
B) find the mean and standard deviation of the predicted a level scores.

Is a ) mean : 6.2
Sx: 26.4

B) 16
Sx: 30.75

Im not sure if this is right though.
I did a similar question same equation but was given sum of g as 408.6 and the sum of g^2 as 2545.06, 66 studentsThe mean of g is 408.6/66 = 6.1909 and the std dev of g is s root of 2545.06/66 minus mean sq and the answr is 0.48401.To get the mean of a take the mean of g and multiply by 2.6 and subtract 9.42. to get 6.67634To get the std deviation of a just multiply the std deviation of g by 2.6.to get the answer 1.2584Hope that helps
