You might as well roll in a puddle, that would be just as effective.

So? It just gets washed away in a shower whereas in a bath it floats around and soaks into your hair, hence shower being better.
What I was suggesting was that what you have just stated means that the percentage for a shower is likely to be higher.

Thank you for you rather graphical explanation of the statistic

showers are better cos you can have a cold shower and that's lovely but a cold bath would be horrid.

Yeah. Usually after I bathe I take a quick shower. I only take a bath when I want to relax for a while and put oils and salts in the tub. They smell nice.

Is there a difference? It depends how long you take a shower or bath in one and how hard you scrub and clean yourself.

    Why is soap so cleansing?
well... it's oily so I guess it lubricates the dirt so it slides off more esily

i'm a bit of a weirdo about baths ever since i saw an episode of friends when chandler said something about how he didnt like baths cos he felt like he was stewing in his own scum.

now i always have a shower, and if i feel like having a bath, i have a shower before i have a bath.

chandler has scarred me. i'm never going to be the same again.
