Coughing up weird bacteria things.

Well basically, ever since I went to Germany 2 years ago, I cough up small white balls of bacteria (I guess). It may be related to my hay fever problem-or perhaps not. But I was badly affected when I was in Germany, and I had terrible allergy problems. I first cough up these off-white gritty smelly balls 2 years ago and I have been dogged by them ever since. They reside at the back of my throat and I sometimes can spot them in the mirror before I cough them up.

Any items how to prevent this problem? Anyone else suffer from this?
-I hope this is the right forum.

Can I just say first that Im so glad I wasnt eating my dinner when I read that!... Never heard of anything like that before, maybe you should go see your GP just to make sure its nothing dodgy :s-smilie:

yeah go to your GP is the best bet. Having had it for a while and im guessing there are no other problems? It doesnt seem to ring alarm bells but its always better to be safe than sorry. Good Luck with it xx

Yeah they sound like tonsil stones. I get them sometimes, so do some of my friends. They are gross, I haven't had any for ages though thank god.

I actually had one this morning and was going to post about it. Now there's a coincidence.

They're absolutely stinking.

Thanks everyone...I was thinking it was just me. Weird I first got them in Germany though, I only spent 7 days there. Must be something in the water.

haha, maybe thats why the beer over there's so cheap, probably something in it :|

Just curious, do you guys that get this breathe mostly through your mouth?

They are aggravated by dairy products like cheese and also if you have post-nasal drip from allergies. Nothing to worry about we all get them sometimes. Too much fondue in Germany?

I personally breathe through my nose most of the time, but because I have hay fever sometimes I breathe through my mouth
