My attitude is: they'll do it anyway so what's the point trying to stop them?

Which is a terrible attitude to have towards any political issue.

True, but it's one of those things you can't do anything about

Nobody cares
What sheeple we all are! In a lot of other countries they would have started riots over the very idea of something like this.

And if the internet had existed like it does now back in the 60s and 70s we most certainly wouldn't have acted like sheep and tolerated it!

If you record everything on your history then you're a ****ing idiot.

If you do explore the let's say "sketchier" parts of the Internet just hit incognito in google chrome, hey presto!

Regardless, unless you're a sick degenerate that looks at gun making tutorials or child porn; I can't think of anything actually incriminating on the internet, except maybe minors watching porn, in which case refer to paragraph 1.

Nobody seems to like proper rebellion round these parts and one ends up just falling in line 'cause you can't really start a one man riot.

Although it is incredibly concerning, one could argue that if you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear.

You must recognise how this charter was introduced was highly suspicious, something like this needs a vote, surely? At least a decent media spotlight? A public explanation?

This charter would make it very easy for people to be framed, regardless of their internet history.

Plus the reason for this is that they've just realised they've been doing it illegally for years

Exactly, they now have legitimacy.
