The point is I don't really mind it. I just don't get drunk.
I think it’s admirable that you don’t indulge in such activities, peer pressure often dictates our actions and it’s refreshing to come across people who are not afraid to go against the grain.

All my so-called friends from school had a reunion party and I wasn't even invited!!
They said afterwards that they didn't invite me because they knew I don't like drinking alcohol etc.
But that's no reason for not even telling me!
I'm never speaking to them again.
Time to forget school and think of uni...lol.
darling thats horrible, a similar thing happened to me last week..it was a friends bday, so i poped round to give her a card and a bottle of wine...[i dont actally like the girl but its my birthday in a month...and so i'll get one in return this way...and shes not cheep enough to buy the cheepest bottle of wine in tesco like i am.] and whilst i was there i asked if she was going out that night ..which she replied no im having a party here as my rents have gone away...my friends are coming...we'll have to meet up in the week and ill fill you in on all the gossip of what went on. i just stood there stunned. i was sooo tempted to grab the bottle of wine back.

but there is a point somewhere in my post. your friends from school may be horrible and people that you'd never speak to again but they do have their use. now, i love my friends from uni...but none of them live in wales or even remotly close to wales so when im home for this horribly long 9 weeks..i need aquaintences to socialise with....so what do i do...ring up all those people and just be especially nice...pretending that you didnt even realise theyd had a party without you as you were way too busy enjoying your own life...and organise a little get together of your own...and then its great..you have them appearing when your bored..and when your fine without them you can just ignore them!!

wow, that makes me seem such a cow....oh well!
