Grade boundaries (please reply!!!) watch

    • Thread Starter

Hey guys i'm just ultimately 150% nervous... I just want to assure myself about grade boundaries. Please tell me if the following grade boundaries are generally correct for all examination boards... if not, please tell me the correct %:

    Maths: A* around 80%, A around 60%, B around 40%
    English Language: A* around 85%, A around 75%, B around 65%
    English Literature: A* around 80%, A around 70%, B around 60%
    Science (Double Award): A* around 80%, A around 70%, B around 60%
    History: A* around 75%, A around 65%, B around 55%
    Geography: A* around 85%, A around 75%, B around 65%
I.C.T (CCEA - already been told the exact grade boundaries):
    A* = 80%, A = 71%,
    Chinese: A* around 83%, A around 73%, B around 63%
    P.E: A* around 85%, A around 75%, B around 65%

Please tell me if i'm correct! and correct me if needed

Sorry i'm just SOOOO nervous... since i live in Hong Kong and our time is 7 hours ahead of you guys, i'm getting my exam results in exactly TEN AND A HALF HOURS!!!

English Lit (AQA) generally about 5% higher.

Double Science (OCR) generally about 10% lower!

I'd love to help but I'm trying very hard not to think about it

    ...Not going so well

I'd say english lit (aqa) is at least 5% higher and english language 5% lower. And like didi said, double science (ocr) is generally 10% lower

For English, are the grade boundaries similar for each exam board, because I took WJEC, and I was wondering if the grade boundaries are the same for that too?

The PE ones are right, well i did the same exam board and that what we were told too.
In case anyones interested to know the boundary for an A in FSMQ add maths is 70%, b 60% ...
