I woke up the other day and I had a huge black/blue bruise round my ankle and it was slightly swollen...and I have absolutely no idea what I've done!! I'm not too worried as it's going down now and it's not painful, just slightly tender if I touch it, but I was just wondering if anyone has any idea if bruises can just appear for no apparent reason and if they can - why?! I don't think they can, I must have bashed it in my sleep or something but the size of it and how bad the bruise is suggests a big bang I can't have missed so slightly confused
    Any suggestions?

    Thank you

Secretly you fancy me. So in your sleep you subconciously bashed yourself in the ankle so you could make this thread and talk to me.

You obviously squeezed your own ankle in your sleep. Really hard. With a vice-like grip.

Because you fancy Fluent in Lies.

    Obviously.

You probably just bashed it against the wall in your sleep. I do it all the time.
