    I got:

    English Literature- A
    English Language- B
    Science Double Award- AA
    Geography- A
    Maths- B
    Drama- B
    Dance- B
    Textiles- A
    Religious Education- A
    ICT short course- A*

Firstly I am really pleased with my Science, RE, Maths and Textiles grades.
I cant believe i got a AA in science I was predicted CC. In the exam i got 300/330 equals A* so pleased about that. yaay
Maths- can’t comprehend how i got the B, so surprised my maths in terrible!

But i am feeling really miserable with the others..

Dance i was predicted A and I got a B which really sucks considering I worked hard for it even though I hated it.
Drama- predicted A/A* and I got a B, don’t know how that happened.
English language- predicted A*. I am so disappointed about it I will ask for a retake or remark.
But I am mostly saddened with geography I was predicted an A* and I worked so so hard for it and the main exam i freaked and meant i didn’t do very well in it. I hoping my teacher will let me retake.

Does anyone know how I can ask for a remark?? I go back to school on the 11th and that might be to late.

Congratulations to everyone you guys did so well!

You don't need to retake your GCSE's! You did so well! Just worry about your A Levels now! No need to worry about making A's into A*'s! You did great!!

slightly off topic; did anyone else see those statistics in The sunday Times where 51.5% of grammar school entries got A/A*, compared to 50.8% of private schools and -wait for it- 15.3% of comps. and people want to abolish grammar schools:confused:

Needless to say, I'm extremely pleased with these results

I'm ever so slightly miffed with English Language, as it would've been nice to get a full set of A*s, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with an A!

You've all done really well. Congrats.

Badman5, you've done well, especially since English isn't your first language. Well done.

    10 A*s and an A in Chemistry
    Yeah blad

By the way, does anyone know if the marks it gives you for edexcel maths e.g. 470/480 means 470 out of or paper 1 = 470 and paper 2 = 480. I was a bit confused..

    Well done!

No, it means that you dropped 10 UMS marks across two papers. It could be any combination of marks really.

    Here we go ..
    English Lit - A*
    English - A
    Maths - A
    Science - AA
    History - A
    French - A
    RS (Short Course) - A
    Statistics - A
    Music - B
    ICT - C

Amazed with science grades as the head of science almost didn't even put me on the higher paper because of my mock results (CC). Well done mum and her firm phone call

Annoyed with the C in ICT since my coursework was a high A*. Turns out nobody in my year group got higher than a C even though my coursework mark means that even without the written exam I already had a B. The school is 'looking into it' so my grade could hopefully change. ICT doesn't support my AS level choices but it would be nice to have no Cs

Congratulations to everyone on here, you all did so well!

I just rung the exams office and found out I was just on the boundary for an A in economics. I got 311 and a B would have been 310. Soooo glad I didn't get that one remarked lol! I am still in shock! It must have been my lucky day to just have scraped an A because I would have been so much more gutted to get all A*s and one B.

Here's me being very honest. Now with all these A's/A*'s everyone is getting, it kind of makes me feel bad about my results, but all bar 0.5 were A-C

    A - Maths (Predicted A*, but I'm still pleased)
BB - Double Award Science (Over the moon with this)
B - English Language (And this)
B - English Literature (And this!)
C - Media Studies (Coursework let me down in this, got a F in the first piece lol)
C - GCSE P.E (Missed the moderation day through injury)
    C - French (Happy)
C - German (Pleased, I was one of 3 or 4 to pass at my school)
    C - Music (Happy)
E - Religous Studies (Oh well)
