Subject to validation
Does subject to validation means that there must be a certain number of people taking it, then the course can operate?
Have any of you applied to courses that have the status "subject to validation"? Should I apply to those courses?

I presume it means that the course is new and the content needs to be examined first to make sure it is appropriate for undergrad study

the prospectus said my course was subject to validation - never found out what it meant though

yep yep! there were a couple more courses that were the same too. i think it just means that they are new courses (which i know mine was) and they have to check the subject material is ok

I think it means that it is a new course and is awaiting validation from the board to allow the university to teach it. I was going to apply for a course that was subject to validation but I didn't bother in the end.

Hey trev tried to catch you on MSN i think its up the shoot though. I think its what everyone has said here e.g new technology courses for example...Iam thinking of swapping to games computing which is also * subject to validation
