As far as I know, the only degree that allows you to be recognized as a pharmacist is the MPharm.

The MPharmSci is a masters degree

Both of them are masters.

As said above, you can not become a practicing pharmacist without the MPharm degree. I'm guessing pharmaceutical science is more to do with the production of drugs, whereas pharmacy is more patient orientated.

Unlike the MPharm, there will be no clinical component in the MPharmSci, and no pharmaceutical law and no dispensing/compounding. Other than that there will be quite a few courses in common. The rest of the time on the MPharmSci will be made up with additional pure science courses most likely more advanced medicinal or pharmaceutical chemistry or sciences related to industrial processing of drugs/medicines. As a pharmacist, you have to have the knowledge to act as a health professional in patient care, hence the need for the MPharm.
