Prism Question

This question.

So looking at the plan I can sketch it, it looks like a 3d tetris shape.

But I'm confused about how this is a prism?

I thought prisms were tent shaped or square based prisms but do we define prism as something else to do with cross section or something?

A prism is a shape with the same cross sectional area along its whole length. The cross section can be any shape (in this case the front elevation). So it looks like
