Talybont South rooms....

Just a few quick (and silly!) questions about the rooms in Talybont south...

Do the rooms have curtains/blinds?
I was looking at some pictures and one room had blinds and others had curtains which were totally different colours/designs...so do you have to bring your own curtains???

Also is there any room for storage under the beds? Is it just a space under the bed or drawers?

Thank you soo much for any help

They have curtains, well my room did. There are two big drawers under the bed or it may have been just one I can't remember.
There is loads of storage space, so don't worry about that.

What about internet connection? Does every room have it? And does anyone know what the speed is?

All rooms have internet access, but make sure you're computer is competly free of any virus. I had that problem and had to format my computer.
I'm not sure of the speed.

All the rooms have either curtains or blinds, it just depends on the house your in. My room had a blind. There are two good sized draws under the bed as well as three desk drawers and a wardrobe which contains shelves as well as hanging space. There is also a table thingy at the end of the bed, where there is an external aerial socket for the tv. Every room has internet connection. When you arrive you will be supplied with a reslan (uni network) disc and an ethernet cable. You have to remove any antivirus program you have on your pc before installing it, after of course scanning for viruses. Last year some of the discs didn't work properly, so ppl just borrowed their flatmates as you don't need it after the initial installation.
The speed can vary on the internet but it's normally quite good. I think if lots of ppl are using it/at certain times it slows down a bit. The Itunes store is extremely slow, and some programmes won't work like the games application on facebook for more info about internet see http://thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=343628

Can you set up a freeview box to work in your room?

Thank you for your help everyone

Does anyone happen to have a photo of the ensuite?
I've seen a few pictures of the rooms but never seen what the ensuite is like - i've heard it's small but would like to see how small!!!

Yes you can set up a freeview box quiet easily, the rooms in South have an ariel socket that helps get a good picture.

Unfortunately in Court the rooms do not have a plug socket so, t.v.s in rooms aren't all the good. I lived in court and me and my flatmates put my t.v. in the kitchen area and split the cost of a licence, and then I purchased a digi-box it was pretty good!
