does any1 know if 6230 is a good phone to buy or not?
has it got good camera and video quality?

any1 heard of the new phone that is going to come out also?
thei mproved version of the nokia 6230. Its the nokia 6230i?
its meant to be better by having better things like a 1 mega pixel camera and 2 speakers, 1 at each side.

The screen is too small in my opinion, same size as all the older colour Nokias like the 7210, though at least now it's more than 4096 colours.

6230 IMO is an not a bad phone. Although it doesn't seem to be based on the same series 60 OS as the 3650, 6600 etc.. it seems to have some of the same higher level features (see below)

    Key features...
    Video recorder and player
    Digital VGA camera
    Active TFT color display
    Bluetooth wireless technology
    Streaming video and audio
Music player for MP3 and AAC files
    Stereo FM radio
    EDGE and GPRS
    MultiMediaCard (MMC)

The technology is improved from the 7250i, 3200 etc.. which did have cameras/screens leaving a bit to be desired, in this phone the camera is 640x480 res and the display is 65k colour (although it could be described as a bit on the small side compared to the series 60 phones).

I believe there is a newer nokia coming out, but there's always some kind of update and 1 megapixel camera does ring a bell from somewhere...

amongst others i've had 3 nokias, a panasonic and a samsung and i hated the samsung/panasonic - just found the nokias more compatible with everything and easier to use (currently got a 3650)

I just hate them! I've never had one but I find them really hard to use. I can pick up almost any phone and know how to use it instantly, but with Nokias I always call people by mistake.

I'm happy with my Sony Ericsson T610

Nokia phones are by far the easiest to use and that is why they became so popular. There's not many phones that I would buy over a Nokia.

Well perhaps I'm strange then! But my dad can't use them either, and he gets on fine with his Sony of some discription (J something I think, it has a monkey game).

I think Triums are the easiest
