My bedroom has turned from my sanctuary to a monkey-ridden, blanket infested, Avril Lavigne shrine due to my niece who has taken the bottom bunk for this week. Grrrrrr.

Spend a few mins every day tidying up the mess i've made that day. Makes it easier than making it seriously messy and then having to spend ages clearing it up

I moved my bed into the centre of the room, therefore halving the amount of visible clutter strewn across the floor. I recently did a major clear out of my room, because it had become so awful that even I felt the need to clear it up. My room houses half the towels in the house, but I find it saves money by not having to buy an expensive, soft rug for my floor. During the day, I generally dump stuff on my bed, and when it comes to night I throw it onto the floor. It's very easy and simple. I think of my room as a vegetable garden, with thin little paths running through large areas of vegetation. I would have posted a photo of my room in it's messiest state, but it is now clear and sparkly

my room is relativly tidy but i can't really get it any tidier due to the large amount of random art materials i have (a lot of which i have stolen from school for use over the summer) and it is where i do my art stuff so it has that creative mess look to it..

I get really paronoid if my room is dirty or something is out of place.
The whole room has to be cleaned, including under all the furniture, once a week.

All mums HAVE to moan about the state of the room. Even if its perfectly tidy or theres only a few specks on the carpet u get a lecture. It there job and our job to ignore it and keep living in unsantitary conditions hazardous to our health.
