You're joking? Of course you'll get in! You have A*-C grades and most colleges only want 4 or 5 A*-C. You didn't fail English, you probably got a D and chances are Literature will carry just as much weight.

French is a puppet subject, Science is only useful if you want a career in it, and English can be retaken again and again!

Your grades are excellent, you should proud.

In fact, they do split the sciences and your school would be able to show you your individual marks on the three components, assuming you want them!

If you find exams hard (I find them impossible) then you should just do everything you can to prepare and then hope that the rest will fall into place. Judging by your results you prepared well and your grades are very good so you should not be bothered by other people's results anyway!!!

PS - The results you will see here are NOT an accurate representation of people across the country - this is an eductional forum afterall, people who don't care about thier results wouldn't be here, so the grades you see will be MUCH higher than the national average...

  Mucho Congrats On Your College Place

A grade D is not a fail. It may not be a top A*-C pass, but it is a pass all the same.
Exams only seem to be able to discriminate between those who are natural born academic sponges, and those who aren't. Being the former, I can't complain - but I can see how exams could be really frustrating and not a true indicator of a person's potential at all. Don't worry about them! Most high earners didn't get to where they are now with straight As!!
