    intermed. - max grade B
    found. - max grade C

    thats my understanding.

I took intermed. and got my B, i found it fairly easy, but 60% of my class (set 1 maths) took higher and most got a C lol.

maybe if i took found. english i may have got a C insted of higher - but a D

Now that I have finished Walking on Air........

    What were your results?
    For Example:
C - English (I sat Foundation Paper so this is the highest grade possible
    C - English Lit (Ditto)
    B - Maths (Whooooohooooo!)

    CC- Science (predicted BB)
    B - Geography (Whooohoooo X 2)
B - French (Yay - My oral didn't f*** my up (sorry about lingo))

    Finally

Merit - GNVQ Intermediate Business Studies Part One (equal to BB)

    What grades were you expecting?
    I got what I expected.

What were your predicted grades by your school?
5Bs 2Cs and Merit (which I missed out on because of Science)
What are you planning to do next year?
Next year, I am staying on the Sixth Form while working part time at Showcase Cinemas. I plan to study AS Music, French and Business and either English (if my school allows me) or Geography and not drop one at the end of Year 12.

I am planning to attend either Cardiff (Music) or the Uni of Glamorgan (Accountancy) as these are the nearest to my home where I plan to stay during University.

    *Extra Comments*

I would like to say, that I was not predicted an A* or As going into the exams. Maybe if I had worked a little harder I would have gotten my BB in Science but there is nothing I can do now and anyway I passed all my Exams and have 7 GCSEs B-C and a GNVQ.

My friends and most of the people here have at least 1 A* and loads of As and this doesn't bother me. I did the best I could and that pleases me more than my results.

Also, I play 3 instuments and attend 2 band practise a week and started Theory lessons this year. For me, my music is my best achivement ever and these result even if they were A* and As could never compare to the happiness my music brings me.

    My GCSE Results

I was told i would ammount to nothing, fail all my GCSE's and end up working in a dead end job by my science teacher. I sure showed him! My head of year predicted me to get only 4 grade A* - C, I sure showed her too!! Here's what i got

    English Lang - B
    English Speaking & Listening - A
    English Literature - C
    French - D <---- REALLY SHOCKING!!! i hate french!!
    Maths - C
    Sociology - C
    Statistics - F
    History - E
    Graphics - C
    Science (Double Award) - C C
    RE - E

So everyone, be happy with what you got, and if a teacher puts you down the way i was, (he told me i'd only be good as a lab hamster for people to conduct experiments on me) go out there and prove them wrong!!!

does any1 no if it is possible to find out your actual score/ mark for each paper. Do you ring up your college or can u find out online??

You can actually request your exam papers back but it is a very difficult process. You need to get a soliciter and got to the exam board and request them. its very unlikely you would get tem.

English Speaking & Listening is not a separate GCSE.
